This Privacy Policy describes how Drokk Mods (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit drokkmods.fyi (the “Site”) and when you authorize our content management tools to access your social media accounts. Drokk Mods is an independent game mod development brand operated by Josh Irish. We publish mods, videos, and related content for games such as 7 Days to Die.

Who This Policy Applies To

Drokk Mods operates a personal creator content management tool built on self-hosted Postiz (open-source social scheduling software). The tool is used to schedule and publish content to our own connected social accounts — including TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter), Facebook, and Instagram — to promote mod releases, gameplay showcases, and our YouTube channel.

Although the tool is operated for our own creator accounts, this policy is written to describe our data practices clearly for visitors to the Site, for platform developer program requirements, and for anyone who interacts with Drokk Mods online.

Information We Collect

Website visitors (drokkmods.fyi)

When you browse the Site, we may automatically collect:

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, referring URL, and pages viewed.
• Server logs: Request timestamps and HTTP status codes, retained briefly for security and troubleshooting.
• Mod update checks: If you use Drokk Mods software that calls our update API, we record anonymous telemetry such as your IP address (used as a document identifier), reported game version, installed mod names and versions, request count, and whether an update notification was shown. This helps us understand adoption and rollout reach. We do not require an account for this.
• LAN game discovery: If you host a local multiplayer session using our "join over LAN" feature, your local network IP address, port, and a display label you choose are stored briefly (a couple of minutes) so a friend on the same network can find and join your game. That local network IP is only ever shown to visitors browsing from the same public IP address as your game, or to someone who enters the exact join code shown in-game — it is never listed publicly and it expires automatically within minutes.
• Beta signup form: If you submit our beta tester form, we collect the email address you provide and verify a Cloudflare Turnstile token to reduce spam. That email is sent to us so we can respond about beta access.
• Twitch stream-puppet diagnostics: If you are signed in with Twitch and view a live puppet stream, your browser may automatically upload a short diagnostic report if it detects a connection fault — such as a dropped video/data connection — so we can debug it. A report can include your IP address, your Twitch account identifiers, technical details about your browser and device (browser/OS version, screen size, GPU renderer name, and similar), and a short log of connection events immediately before the fault. This is collected only when a fault is detected, never on every visit, and is retained for 5 days before automatic deletion.

Connected social media accounts (OAuth)

When we connect a social platform to our content management tool, the platform’s OAuth authorization flow may provide:

• Access and refresh tokens that allow the tool to publish content and read basic account analytics on our behalf.
• Profile information such as username, display name, profile picture/avatar, and account identifiers.
• Content and media that we upload or schedule through the tool, including video files, captions, thumbnails, and scheduling metadata stored on our servers.
• Analytics data returned by connected platforms (for example, post performance metrics), used only to evaluate how our content is performing.

We request only the permissions needed to schedule posts, publish media, and review analytics for accounts we own and operate (such as our TikTok account @DrokkMods).

How We Use Information

We use collected information to:

• Operate and maintain drokkmods.fyi, including serving mod downloads and update notifications.
• Schedule, publish, and manage social media content promoting Drokk Mods, our mods, and our YouTube channel.
• Monitor mod adoption and update-notification reach through anonymous telemetry.
• Respond to beta signup requests and support inquiries.
• Protect the Site and our infrastructure from abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.
• Comply with applicable law and platform developer program requirements.

We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with third parties for their marketing purposes.

How We Share Information

We may share information only in these limited circumstances:

• Social platform APIs: When we publish or manage content, data is transmitted to the relevant platform (TikTok, YouTube, Meta/Facebook/Instagram, X, or others we connect) according to that platform’s API and terms. Each platform processes data under its own privacy policy.
• Infrastructure providers: The Site runs on Google Cloud Run; telemetry is stored in Google Cloud Firestore; email notifications may be sent through our email provider. These providers process data on our behalf to host and operate the service.
• Legal requirements: If required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.

OAuth Tokens and Account Access

OAuth tokens obtained through platform authorization are stored on our self-hosted servers and used solely to perform actions we initiate — publishing scheduled posts, uploading media, and retrieving analytics for connected accounts we control. Tokens are not shared with unrelated third parties. We disconnect platforms and revoke tokens when they are no longer needed.

Access to the content management tool is restricted to authorized operators of Drokk Mods. The tool is not offered as a multi-tenant public service.

Data Retention

• Website server logs: Retained for a limited period appropriate for security and operations, then deleted or aggregated.
• Mod update telemetry: Retained while useful for understanding mod adoption; we may delete or anonymize old records periodically.
• Twitch stream-puppet diagnostics: Automatically deleted 5 days after upload.
• OAuth tokens: Retained while a platform connection remains active; deleted or revoked when disconnected or no longer needed.
• Scheduled content and media: Retained on our servers while needed for publishing and record-keeping; deleted when no longer required.
• Beta signup emails: Retained as long as needed to manage beta communication, then deleted when no longer relevant.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including HTTPS for the Site, access controls on self-hosted infrastructure, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s Privacy

Our Site and tools are not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding personal information, such as:

• Requesting access to information we hold about you.
• Requesting correction or deletion of your information.
• Objecting to or restricting certain processing.
• Withdrawing consent where processing is based on consent.

For social platforms, you can also revoke our app’s access at any time through that platform’s connected-apps or security settings (for example, TikTok’s app permissions page). Revoking access disables future API use but may not automatically delete data already stored on our servers — contact us if you want that data removed.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to external services (YouTube, GitHub, social platforms, etc.). Those services have their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices.

International Users

Drokk Mods is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the U.S. or where our infrastructure providers operate.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
